27 April 2025, A Grand programme was organized on the Independence Day of Sierra Leone and South Africa in the Auditorium of Satyagraha Research Foundation, Satyagraha Bhawan. Representatives of Various Social organizations, intellectuals and Students participated in it. On this occasion,
International Peace Ambassador cum Secretary General Satyagraha Research Foundation Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Dr. Shahnawaz Ali, Dr. Amit Kumar Lohia jointly paid tribute to the heroes of Sierra Leone and Gandhian Nelson Mandela, A strong opponent of South Africa's apartheid policy, and they said that on 27 April 1961 Sierra Leone and on 27 April 1994 South Africa gained independence from England under the leadership of Dr. Nelson Mandela. In accordance with the ideals and values of Mahatma Gandhi, Sierra Leone and South Africa led Movements through Non-Violence for the end of apartheid and independence under the leadership of Dr. Nelson Mandela. The Non-Violent Movement led by Dr. Nelson Mandela will prove to be a Milestone for those who love Civil rights and freedom in a peaceful manner in the present and future.
