The incident took place in Umraddin Madbar Kandi village of Ward No. 6 of Barakandi Union of Jajira Upazila of Shariatpur. The plaintiff, Md. Fazlul Haque Molya (46), was the heir to his father's share property after his father's death and was prevented from cultivating his own land. The accused is Motaleb Molya Yunus Molya Gang. The dispute between the two parties has been going on for six months through various village trials, and despite several complaints to Jajira Police Station, there has been no solution.

Later, when Fazlul Haque Molya went to occupy his father's share of the land, he and his family members were beaten up, and Motaleb Molya and Atahar Molya forcibly cut and sold 32 percent of the land under various threats. Fazlul Haque Molya and his family, helpless, took refuge in the law.

Last (April 16) Md. Fazlul Haque Mollah filed a mis petition 2015 under Section 144/145 in the learned Additional District Magistrate Court of Shariatpur. The court announced the notice ordered by the court. The police of Jajira Police Station, as per the court order, released all types of cultivation and occupation of the said lands for the next 27 days.

But the accused, Motaleb Molya, 10 to 15 forcibly occupying the land with him, and the village's Madbar arbitrators disobeyed this order and allowed the local Matbar arbitrators to forcibly occupy the land and beat the plaintiff in the case.

In this regard, OC Dulal Akand, officer-in-charge of Jajira Police Station, said that as per the court order, a notice under Section 144 was issued to the plaintiff and the defendant on the afternoon of April 20 and prohibited them from carrying out any activities on the land in question. If anyone disobeys the court order, legal action will be taken against them.
