Dhaka, October 25, 2025 — The Dhaka School of Economics (DScE) organized a vibrant Fresher Reception 2025 to warmly welcome the newly admitted students of the Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Economics, Session 2024–25.

The ceremony, held at the Bisshosahotto Kendro auditorium room, marked the beginning of an exciting academic journey for the freshers aspiring to excel in the fields of economics.

Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque, Chairman of the Governing Body of the Dhaka School of Economics, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, while Ms. Rehana Parvin, Director of the institution, attended as the Special Guest.

In his address, Dr. Haque urged the students to nurture analytical skills, creativity, and a sense of responsibility toward national development. Ms. Parvin highlighted the institution’s vision of producing competent graduates who can contribute to the socio-economic progress of Bangladesh and beyond.

The event was attended by faculty members, administrative officials, alumni, and current students, who together created an inspiring atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, motivation, and unity. Cultural performances and interactive sessions added color and energy to the celebration.
