On the occasion of Ramadan, Hafez Osman Faruqi Manik Bala distributed iftar items among 400 underprivileged families in Arshinagar Union of Bhedarganj Upazila. The initiative was personally funded and organized by him.
The distribution took place at his residence, where volunteers handed over food packages containing essential Ramadan items such as soybean oil, chickpeas, dates, lentils, sugar, and puffed rice. He said Ramadan teaches compassion and urged the well-off to support those in need, especially amid rising prices.
Local community members appreciated the effort, and the beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the timely support.
