Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, Shariatpur district branch’s new ‘setup’ for 2026 session has been completed. Sakhawat Kausar has been nominated as the president of this newly formed committee and Mehedi Hasan Nirab has been elected as the secretary.

On Friday (February 27), a ‘members’ meeting was held in the presence of members of Shariatpur district branch. The new leadership for the next one year was announced through this meeting. The program was moderated by Central Executive Council member and Faridpur city president Muaz Billah.

Shahin Ahmed, Central Dawah Secretary of Islami Chhatra Shibir, was present as the chief guest at the meeting. Special guests delivered important speeches:
Maulana Abdur Rab Hashemi, Ameer, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Shariatpur District. Mr. Shahidul Islam, District Assistant Secretary and Former District President.

The speakers at the rally congratulated the newly elected leaders and called for further dynamism in the work of the Islamic movement in the next session. In his speech as the chief guest, Shahin Ahmed said, “The Chhatrashibir will play a leading role in developing the student community as moral and ideal citizens.”

At the end of the program, the newly elected president was sworn in. Then, as a tradition of Chhatrashibir, the newly elected president declared the rally closed with a special prayer and munajat for the prosperity of the country and the nation and the success of the organization.
