Iftar Gathering of Islami Chhatra Shibir Held at Jajira Thana

On the 20th of Ramadan (Tuesday, 10 March 2026), an Iftar gathering was organized by Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Zajira Thana branch, at the auditorium of Zajira Shamsul Ulum Kamil Madrasa. The program was hosted by the Thana Secretary, Sifat Hasan Shakuri.

 

The chief guest of the event was Principal Mawlana Khabir Uddin Ramizi. Special guest was Hosain Ahmed Jubayer.

 

In his speech, the chief guest highlighted the significance and teachings of the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing its importance for students and youth. The special guest also advised student participants to learn patience, piety (taqwa), and trustworthiness from the lessons of Ramadan and to build their character accordingly.

 

The program was presided over by the Thana Branch President, Junaid Mahmud. In his speech, he urged the student community to embody the teachings of Ramadan and work for the welfare of the country and the nation.

 

After the discussion session, the Iftar gathering was held with the participation of leaders, activists, and general students. Before the Iftar, a special prayer (munajat) was offered seeking peace and prosperity for the country, the nation, and the Muslim Ummah. Various responsible members of the Thana branch were present at the event.
