Glaciers are the frozen Sentinels of Nature, huge rivers of ice and snow that carve the earth, and silently testify to the passage of time and the changing rhythm of our planet. They are essential to the Earth’s ecosystem, serving as Vital freshwater reserves and indicators of the planet’s health. They provide water to millions of people, regulate sea levels and support biodiversity. Indiscriminate cutting of trees and man’s modern lifestyle have posed a threat to nature and human life. These frozen giants are in danger. Due to global warming, glaciers are retreating at an alarming rate, leading to water scarcity, rising sea levels and increasing the likelihood of natural disasters like floods or landslides. Let us all come together to protect nature and human life.
