Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir’s Shariatpur district unit holds protest march, calls for accountability

Shariatpur, Bangladesh Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir’s Shariatpur district unit organized a protest march titled July July Drah demanding justice for the July massacre. The march started in front of Uttar Bazar Mosque and ended at Shaheed Mamun Square (Chowringhee More), where leaders delivered emotional speeches calling for legal action against the perpetrators.

Keynote Speakers and Demands
The event was presided over by Advocate Siddiqur Rahman, former district president of the organization. In his speech, he stressed the need for a fair judicial process to hold those responsible for the July massacre accountable.

Current district president Sakhawat Qaiser and district secretary Qamruzzaman Kausar also spoke, condemning the violence and calling on the government to ensure justice for the victims. They highlighted the historical significance of the July massacre and demanded an independent investigation.
