New Leadership Announced for Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, Shariatpur District Branch

SHARIATPUR, July 16, 2026 — The Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, Shariatpur District branch, has officially announced its new leadership team for the remainder of the 2026 session. Mehedi Hasan Nirob has been appointed as the District President, while Rasel Mahmud has been selected to serve as the District Secretary.

The announcement was made during a members’ assembly held today in Shariatpur. The event saw a significant gathering of members from across the district, reflecting the organization’s commitment to its upcoming administrative phase.
The assembly was moderated by Muaz Billah, a member of the Central Working Committee and President of the Faridpur City branch. The event featured Md. Ismail, the Central Madrasa Secretary, who attended as the chief guest and provided valuable insights to the members.
Several distinguished guests were also present to offer their guidance, including Maulana Abdur Rob Hashemi, the Amir of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, Shariatpur District; and former District Presidents Advocate Dewan Siddik Ahmed and Advocate Rashed Khan.
The speakers at the event emphasized the importance of integrity, leadership, and community service in fulfilling the responsibilities of the new roles. The assembly concluded with a collective prayer (Munajat), marking the formal commencement of the new leadership’s tenure.
