Bangladesh Book Publishers and Sellers Association Triennial Election 2025

Last Friday (December 06, 2025) the triennial election (2025-2028) of the Magura District Branch of the Bangladesh Publishers and Sellers Association was held in Magura district.

 

The results of the election have been published. The Magura Book Traders Unity Council panel has been formed. The committee has been formed through elections for 13 posts and 5 members of the Executive Committee. 1 President, 1 Senior Vice President, 4 Vice Presidents, 1 General Secretary, 1 Additional General Secretary, 4 Joint General Secretaries, 1 Treasurer and 5 members.

 

The total number of voters is 94, 92 people voted in the election. Two people contested for the post of President. Mr. Akidur Rahman received 84 votes and A.Quddus received 8 votes. In addition, 10 positions were elected unopposed. Md. Shahidul Islam was elected to the post of member with 61 votes.
