On the occasion of the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election, BNP’s nominated paddy sheaf symbol candidate for Magura-2 constituency, Adv. Nitai Roy Chowdhury has submitted his nomination form. On Sunday (December 28) afternoon, he submitted his nomination form for parliamentary constituency-92 to Mohammadpur Upazila Executive Officer Muh. Shahnur Zaman.
Bangladesh Nationalist Party- BNP’s party paddy sheaf symbol candidate Adv. Nitai Roy Chowdhury has received the final nomination. In the afternoon, in the presence of party leaders and activists, Adv. Nitai Roy Chowdhury submitted his nomination form to the Upazila Executive Officer. This morning, he also submitted his nomination form to Shalikha Upazila Executive Officer.
It is known that former BNP MP Alhaj Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal announced to contest as an independent candidate in Magura-2 constituency. At a public meeting in the constituency, he said that if he does not get nomination from BNP, he will contest as an independent candidate in this constituency. But on the night of December 26, he announced his retirement from active politics on his Facebook ID.
As a result, Adv. Nitai Roy Chowdhury submitted this nomination paper as the sole candidate of BNP in Magura-2 constituency. Until now, the common people could hear that Kazi Salimul Haque Kamal was Nitai Roy Chowdhury’s strong rival. Some people thought that there would be a three-way fight. However, now there is a possibility of a two-way fight. Adv. Nitai Roy Chowdhury’s strong rival is now the candidate of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s nominated scale symbol, MB Baker. The public is expecting a tough fight.
