On Saturday, January 3, 2026 at 10 am, a rally and discussion meeting was organized by the Mohammadpur Upazila Social Service Department at the Mohammadpur Upazila Parishad of Magura District on the occasion of National Social Service Day (2 January 2026).

Mr. Muha: Shahnur Zaman (Upazila Executive Officer, Mohammadpur, Magura) was present as the chief guest at the event, and Mr. Md. Abdur Rab (Upazila Social Service Officer, Mohammadpur, Magura) presided over the event. Abul Khair (Officer-in-Charge Investigation, Mohammadpur Police Station), invited guests and all the people of Mohammadpur Upazila were also present.

The speeches of the chief guest and invited guests at the event highlighted that old age allowance, widow allowance, disability allowance and all facilities will be distributed and distributed with honesty, justice and integrity. Various grants are being administered by the Mohammadpur Social Services Department to make Magura Mohammadpur beggar-free. The officer of the Social Services Department said that everyone will apply for their difficulties and needs and appropriate action will be taken by the Social Services Department.

At the end of the event, checks for disability cards, wheelchairs and non-profit loans were given. All those who are physically disabled and are accepted as members by the Social Services Department after proper verification and selection. It was informed that the officials of the Social Services Department will continue their activities in this way.
