Satyagraha Research Foundation, Mother Tahira Charitable Trust and Various Social organizations jointly organized Discussion on World Day Against Child Labour . World peace Inter-faith Prayer Meeting organized for the Children killed in Palestine Israel War, Ukraine Russia War, war ending and permanent peace.

Today on 12 June 2025, a Discussion was organized on the occasion of World Day Against Child Labour . The topic of which was “Domestic Violence on Children and Girls after Corona Transition Period, Child Labor” and Eradication. On this occasion, International Peace Ambassador cum Secretary General Satyagraha Research Foundation Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Senior Journalist cum Founder Mother Tahira Charitable Trust Dr. Amanul Haque, Dr. Shahnawaz Ali, Dr. Amit Kumar Lohia, West Champaran Kala Manch convenor Shaheen Praveen jointly paid tribute to the boys and girls who sacrificed their lives during the Corona transition period, various natural disasters, war-torn areas. On this occasion, Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate Dr. Amanul Haque Navindu Chaturvedi and Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal jointly said that various studies show that nine out of ten children in Africa, Asia and the Pacific are victims of child labor.
The International Labor Organization celebrated the first World Day Against Child Labour in 2002 to highlight the plight of these children. This day, celebrated on June 12, serves as a catalyst for the growing worldwide movement against child labour.
World Day Against Child Labor provides an opportunity to gain more support from individual governments and ILO social partners, civil society and others, schools, youth and women’s groups, as well as the media in the campaign against child labor.
In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of which is to eliminate child labour in all its forms by the end of 2025. Satyagraha Research Foundation, Fakirana Sisters Society, Bachpan Bachao Andolan, Kailash Satyarthi Foundation, Mother Tahira Charitable Trust and various social organisations are determined to take concrete and effective steps in this direction.

It aims to take immediate and effective measures to end bonded labour, end modern slavery and human trafficking and ensure the prohibition and elimination of the worst forms of child labour, including the recruitment and use of child soldiers. The target is to eliminate child labour from across the world by the end of 2025. According to UN data, even today 160 million children are engaged in child labour – some of whom are under the age of five. Africa, Asia and the Pacific account for nine out of every ten children in child labour worldwide. According to India’s 2011 census, India has 1.01 crore child labourers. On this occasion, the speakers appealed to the United Nations and the world community to create awareness at a concrete and social level to eliminate child labour from the world by 2025 so that we can eliminate child labour from the world through social and Government efforts.
