Government should develop and Protect the Historical Hazarimal Dharamshala and historical Meena Bazar which were witnesses to the Champaran Satyagraha 1917. Government should re-operate the Hostel of the Historical Raj Inter College. A Grand programme was organized on the 108th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Arrival in Patna from Kolkata on Champaran Satyagraha.

A grand programme was organized in the Auditorium of Satyagraha Research Foundation, Satyagraha Bhawan on the 108th Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi’s Arrival on Champaran Satyagraha.

Representatives of various social organizations, intellectuals and students participated in it. On this occasion, first of all, while paying tribute to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Kasturba Gandhi, immortal martyrs and freedom fighters, International Peace Ambassador cum Secretary Satyagraha Research Foundation Dr. Ajaz Ahmad Advocate, Dr. Suresh Kumar Agarwal, Dr. Amit Kumar Lohia, Dr. Shahnawaz Ali Senior Journalist cum Founder Mother Tahira Charitable Trust Dr. Amanul Haque jointly said that April 10 has special significance in Champaran Satyagraha 1917.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi reached Patna from Kolkata to Come to Champaran on 10 April 1917. Where he met Deshratna Dr. Rajendra Prasad, Maulana Mazharul Haque, Rajkumar Shukla and other dignitaries. On April 15, 1917, he reached Motihari by train at 3 pm from Patna via Muzaffarpur and was staying at the house of lawyer Gorakh Prasad. During the Champaran tour, on April 18, he gave historical statements in the British Court against the order of the British to leave the district from Chandrahiya. The executive of the provincial union opposed the order of Gandhiji to leave the district and on 20 April 1917, the British government ordered to take up the case against Gandhiji. During this time, he was ordered to be given all the facilities, which was the first victory of Satyagraha in Champaran. Mahatma Gandhi reached the historic Hazarimal Dharamshala in Bettiah at 5:00 pm on 22 April 1917 and started the Satyagraha office. On reaching Bettiah, Mahatma Gandhi met Peer Mohammad Munish, Baba Khenar Rao, Sher Mohammad, Sheetal Rai, Akalu Devan and other dignitaries. Remember that on 16 July 1917, the historic Hazarimal Dharamshala and on 17 July 1917, the historic Raj High School hostel. More than 10,000 farmers, laborers and common people had recorded their statements before the Champaran Inquiry Committee against the curse of indigo and the atrocities of the British. The shopkeepers of the historic Meena Bazaar played an important role in this. On this occasion, the speakers demanded from the government that the historic Hazarimal Dharamshala and the historic Meena Bazaar should be developed and protected. Also, the historic hostel of the historic Raj High School should be reopened, where more than 10 thousand farmers and labourers had recorded their statements before the Champaran Inquiry Committee. The new generation needs to know the glorious history of their ancestors.
